Unfortunately, one can't really describe the footage in too much detail, since Aja had no problem with showing kill scenes, which aren't exclusive to bit players. Needless to say, the body count is high and as producer Mark Canton observed, it may be one of the first films to use 3D to its fullest, since it opens the doors to all kinds of possibilities that only a director with a sick sense of humor like Aja could make use of.
One scene involved a swinging hook that first ripped apart a woman's bikini top before the realization sets in that it tore her apart as well, another has "Gossip Girl"'s Jessica Szohr vomiting into the water from a POV shot. (When prodded, Aja also confirmed that a nude underwater love scene between porn star Riley Steele and Kelly Brook "may be my favorite thing I ever shot"; for her part, Steele informed the audience, "It was really, really hard to hold our breath as we were making out.")
"The whole idea of the movie was to make a genre we don't have any more," Aja said of his homage to his guilty pleasures of the 1980s. He stressed that the film wasn't a remake of Joe Dante's film of the same name, but that he invited Dante to come shoot a cameo as a boat captain who gave a speech about safety. Dante accepted, though things ultimately didn't work out. (He was vague on why a similar cameo with James Cameron, director of "Piranha 2," of course, was scrapped.)
Roth, who only has a bit part in the film as a wet T-shirt contest judge, wound up speaking as much as Aja did, praising the film and admitted that he had retired from acting after "Inglourious Basterds" before Aja lured him back. "I wanted to be mutant raped," said Roth, "but Alex said he had already done that before." He also apparently kidded Quentin Tarantino that "You really fucked up 'Inglourious Basterds.' You should've had a wet T-shirt contest."
All of the actors genuinely looked like they were having fun both on screen and off, even though Shue noted it was usually 112 degrees in Lake Havasu, where they shot. Adam Scott said he took a role in the film because "I got to ride on a jetski with a shotgun and do a one-handed cock [of the shotgun] -- it was like Indiana Jones blowing the shit out of some fish."
Still, there may be a larger human toll. When Roth arrived on set, he discovered Aja had used 7000 gallons of blood, which he put into perspective by acknowledging he used 150 for "Hostel" and Tarantino used 300 for "Kill Bill." "Piranha 3D" will be bleeding to a theater near you on August 20th.

Yogi Bear is a fictional bear who appears in animated cartoons created by Hanna-Barbera Productions. He made his debut in 1958 as a supporting character in The Huckleberry Hound Show. Yogi Bear was the first breakout character created by Hanna-Barbera, and was eventually more popular than Huckleberry Hound.[1] In January 1961 he was given his own show, The Yogi Bear Show, sponsored by Kellogg's, which included the segments Snagglepuss and Yakky Doodle.[2] Hokey Wolf replaced his segment on The Huckleberry Hound Show.[3] A musical animated feature film, Hey There, It's Yogi Bear!, was produced in 1964.[4]
Yogi was one of several Hanna-Barbera characters to have a collar, which allowed the body to be kept static and to redraw just the head in each frame when he was speaking, thus reducing the number of drawings needed for a seven-minute cartoon from 14,000 to around 2,000.[5]
Yogi Bear was voiced by Daws Butler, and later by Greg Burson.
In October 2008, it was announced that Warner Bros. will film a live-action/animated film similar to Fox and Bagdasarian's Alvin & the Chipmunks.[6] It will star Dan Aykroyd as the voice of Yogi Bear, Justin Timberlake as the voice of Boo Boo Bear, and Christine Taylor as the voice of Cindy Bear. The movie's release date is Christmas, 2010.

Despite the success of the 1921 serial, The Adventures of Tarzan, starring Elmo Lincoln there were no film projects until 1926 when FBO Studios (Joseph Kennedy's company which later joined with RCA to form RKO Radio Pictures) bought the film rights to Tarzan and the Golden Lion. Burroughs had much more say in the choice of actor to play Tarzan in this film. During a party at Tarzana Ranch ERB was impressed by one of the guests who fit the mental image of his fictional jungle man. Pierce was a former All-American football player from Indiana who had come to Hollywood to work as a football coach at Glendale High School. His giant physique and chiselled good looks got him numerous roles in Hollywood films. ERB insisted that he try out for the role of Tarzan, even though it meant giving up a major part in the upcoming film, Wings -- a part that eventually went to Gary Cooper.
Filming began in September 1926 and finished in December 1926. Under ERB's supervision the script followed the original novel quite closely. Jane was played by Dorothy Dunbar and the part of a native was played by an obscure English actor called Boris Karloff. The film was a hit at the box office despite the lukewarm reviews by critics. Mainly because of the poor critical reception, FBO did not exercise their option to produce a sequel. Burroughs then signed a deal with rival Universal who produced two Tarzan movies starring Frank Merrill -- the last of the silent Tarzan films. Jim Pierce never played Tarzan again on film, although he married Burroughs daughter, Joan, and they starred as Tarzan and Jane in the 1932 radio serial.

STORY SUMMARY
Lord Greystoke (James Pierce), known as Tarzan to the natives of Africa among whom he lived, expects his wife (Dorothy Dunbar) and her niece (Edna Murphy) with the young overseer (Harold Goodwin) of his estate. A renegade White (villain played by Frederic Peters) meets the travellers and plans to attack them. But the timely arrival of the hero with his native army rescues them. A stranger in rags (D'Arcy Corrigan) comes to the hero and informs him that he had escaped from the diamond city of a race of people little known. He tells the hero of a fabulous wealth in diamonds hidden within the Diamond palace of this tribe. The villain overhears him and during the hero's absence he abducts him and the young heroine. The villain forces the stranger to lead him to the city of diamonds. When the hero returns and hears of the abduction he takes his faithful lion along and rushes to their rescue, instructing his lieutenants to follow him wit his army of natives. Eventually he reaches the city of diamonds in time to rescue the heroine from being offered as a sacrifice to a lion, which the natives worshipped as their God. The hero kills their lion, and his lion kills the villain. The natives declare the hero as their High Priest, to reign in the city of diamonds. The young heroine marries the overseer of his estate.

Max Harper (Josh Holloway) and his accomplice has decided to kidnap David, an 8-year-old son of a wealthy New England socialite despite the warning of his fiancée, Roxanne (Sarah Wayne Callies) of not mixing around with the baddies. Max does that as the last resort for his inability to get the loan from the bank because of his previous conviction.

Max has disguised as a Santa Claus at David’s birthday party in order to kidnap him. Hilariously, the ransom note uses Ransom fonts! As Max and his accomplice has left the initial meeting place, they have burnt the van they used earlier and has left in another car. Then, they drive away into a secluded house in a remote countryside. Little did the Max and the kidnappers know that the shy and reserved David actually has a hidden agenda of his own, and a mysterious way of tapping into the minds of others.
The story is full of plots and though they are predictable, the movie is still full of suspense. The kidnappers have become the victims of the boy, one by one and the drama unfolds. The boy with his mysterious power uses the crayons found in his room to draw a sketch of all the kidnappers as he has seen all their faces. He then slowly kills the kidnappers as the movie goes along. As David uses his voice to control others, the wolves in the wild are part of his weapons too.
Max’s meeting with Jones, the mastermind behind all these ended up as failure each time as he is not able to provide the evidence that the boy’s alive in order to show the boy’s mom for him to collect the ransom money.
For the last time, when Max’s meeting with Jones finally came face-to-face, he has realized the mastermind with the Jones name and a man’s voice is actually David’s mother who desperately wanted to kill his own adopted son. She has come with a briefcase full of money. She even begs Max to kill David and when Max refuses, she succumbs to killing herself with a pistol.
The movie continues with Max going back to the house and his intention to kill the boy. However, Roxanne is already under the influence of David to kill Max as she believes David’s an Angel. The chasing and pursue of David ends up with Roxanne’s death as Max has accidentally shot her. In the final showdown with the boy, Max is able to overcome David’s whisper by using earplugs. Though the boy has managed to manipulate the wolves to surround Max, his accidental flip of an axe hits and kills David instantly and thus, the wolves leave and Max survives.
As Max returns to the city, he leaves the bag of money on the feet of a Santa Claus, showing that he’s the actual Angel.
Overall, the movie is not just another horror flick but it is filled with drama, suspense, action and of course, the something that’s just unexplainable that gives you goosebumps.

A non-conformist, Barry avoids picking his job and instead plays hooky in the outside world. He zips among the flowers, discovers that tennis balls are "kinda grabby," hangs out on a windshield with a jive-talking mosquito (Chris Rock) and gets rescued by a lovely young florist conveniently named Vanessa Bloom (Renee Zellweger).
Barry breaks the "No. 1 Bee Rule" and thanks this human for saving him, and even develops a cute inter-species crush on her. Having picnics, joking around, and this romance gives Jerry a chance to shine with his long-missed deadpan observational humor. Unfortunately one thing he observes is that humans package and sell a lot of honey, even going so far as to — gasp! — put it in products that don't need the precious resource, like shampoo and lip balm. "Don't they know how hard bees work to make this stuff?"
From there, the movie takes a strange turn as Barry takes "Big Honey" to court. It's moderately entertaining stuff, especially if your little ones enjoy, or can follow, a plot that largely takes place in a court of law. All told, the massive ad campaign only serves to drive expectations too high. "Bee Movie" is a mediocre film that buzzes mostly on the charm of its hero and far too many jokes that taste more like corn syrup than honey.
Parents take note: "Bee Movie" hinges on a court drama that younger kids will never be able to follow but also features no real villains and isn't particularly scary. The animation is stylish and characters are cute and fuzzy. When Barry takes flight, the bright sunshine, multi-colored flowers, and frenetic camera dazzles and delights.

Of all the possible kung fu masters-to-be, Po (Jack Black) -- a lumbering, lovable panda -- seems the least likely candidate. Besides, his family's in the noodle business, and that's where his father (improbably, a goose) expects him to make his mark. But a snafu at the Jade Palace leaves Po as the top pick for the legendary Dragon Warrior. The position comes with a huge responsibility: The Dragon Warrior is charged with protecting the town from Tai Lung (Ian McShane), a brilliant kung fu master who crossed over to the dark side. He's been locked up for years, but now he's on his way to defeat Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) and his elite Furious Five. Can unlikely hero Po stand his ground and save the day?
"Kung Fu Panda" is is a pleasure, and Po is the ideal animated incarnation of the engaging, electric Black. He's wonderful here, giving Po the perfect mix of irreverence and sincerity. When he meets his idols, the Furious Five -- Ferocious Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Crane (David Cross), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu), and Monkey (Jackie Chan) -- he's charmingly awestruck. To watch him metamorphose from clumsy kung fu fan to master is a delight. And the message -- there's no secret to greatness besides faith in yourself -- is admirable.
The movie's story may not be as inventive as, say, "Finding Nemo," but it's undeniably charming. And there are definitely moments of brilliance: A training battle between Shifu and Po involving chopsticks and a lone dumpling will go down as one of the best in cartoon -- and maybe even kung fu -- history.
Fans may also like other animated films with lovable critter heroes, including "Ratatouille," "Ice Age," "The Jungle Book," and the eco-minded "Arctic Tale."
What Parents Should KnowParents need to know that kids will definitely want to see this heavily promoted (including McDonald's Happy Meals) animated film -- which stars kid fave Jack Black as the voice of the main character, Po. And its humor and heartwarming story will appeal to grown-ups, too. The movie boasts positive messages about being who you are and believing in yourself, but it is martial arts-themed, so expect plenty of fast-paced battle scenes with kicks, punches, falls, and more. Even though they're animated, some sequences -- especially the one in which intimidating villain Tai Lung escapes from prison -- may be a little too scary for kindergartners and younger.
Families can talk about Po's decision to follow his dreams and pursue martial arts greatness. Was he right? What makes Po different from the other heroes in the movie? What do they learn from him? And what does Po's ease with himself teach young viewers? What makes him such a great kung fu warrior?
